The exhibition "The Yongle Emperor’s World-Imperial Thangka and Art Works from the Yongxuan Era [1403-1435] of the Ming Dynasty will be officially launched at the end of this month. This special exhibition will display fifteen historical relics, all collections of Long Museum, including one Thangka, four buddha figures, nine porcelain pieces and one set of handwriting of the Buddhist Sutra by Zheng He. On the occasion of the opening of this exhibition, Liu Yiqian, a well-known collector and founder of Long Museum, Zhang Hongwei, director of the Forbidden City Research Institute of the Palace Museum, He Xiaorong, professor of the School of History of Nankai University, and director of the Institute of History Xie Xiaodong, the founder of Zai Art APP, gathered at Long Museum, trying to combine the appreciation of cultural relics with historical cognition.
