International Museum Day occurs every year on March 18th. Ever since it was established in 1977, International Museum Day has set a different theme for each year. This year, the theme is "Hyperconnected Museums: new approaches, new publics." Museums serve as a link connecting the local community, cultural landscape, and natural environment. In order to fully exercise this connection while drawing in new audiences and strengthening established relations, museums must create new methods of interaction and display.

 
On the occasion of this year’s celebration, the Long Museum has designed a series of public events to create an opportunity for the public to learn more about the museum and experience its unique cultural atmosphere.
